Immigration

Julia’s immigration work is primarily family-based, but can extend to many affirmative applications to establish or maintain immigration status. Julia does not represent clients on removal proceedings, but works with other attorneys who practice defensive immigration law and can provide you with referrals if this is what you are facing.

Call Julia now if you wish to:

  • Adjust the status of a family member
  • Apply for immigration benefits as a result of marriage
  • Apply for Lawful Permanent Resident status (LPR)
  • Complete the naturalization and citizenship process
  • Apply for a visa
  • Update a visa or your information with USCIS
  • Apply for work authorization

We will schedule you promptly, follow through with your paperwork once submitted, and inform you in a timely manner as the law evolves in this area. We do not have bilingual staff on site, but can arrange for interpretation services with advance notice.

In particular, if you have a non-citizen child in your care who lacks proper immigration status, it is essential that you contact an attorney as soon as possible to discuss options for that child’s future. Many such children can qualify to remain in the United States through a process known as Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Come in now for a consultation to see if the child in your care will qualify.
